Dr. Kristian's mission has and always will be to connect Black women to the tools, resources, knowledge and products they need to lead happier and healthier lives. She believes that a life free of toxins and all things artificial is a life worth cultivating. 

Anne Beal is a doctor who created AbsoluteJOI Skincare for her daughters’ sensitive skin. As her daughters were growing up, their sensitive skin required clean, natural products to be smooth
and healthy. They have grown into beautiful brown skinned women and are still searching for products to manage hyper-pigmentation, even their skin tone and protect against aging, while being gentle and promoting healthy balanced skin. 

In response to the death of her neighbor due to AIDS, Abir established Inua Naturals to combat the gender poverty gap in her village and improve women’s access to better healthcare services. Inua works with over 154 marginalized women farmers and artisans.

Danielle Cadet is the Managing Editor of Refinery29’s Unbothered sub-brand which serves black millennial women.

She joined Refinery29 from ESPN where she oversaw daily editorial coverage as the Deputy Editor of Editorial Operations for The Undefeated. Prior to ESPN, Cadet worked at “The Huffington Post Black Voices” where she led breaking news coverage of several national stories. She has keen insight into the consumption habits of digital consumers and multi-cultural readers.
